RHOLTSU

Rholtsu is the brainchild of skateboarder and artist Lochlan Sutherland who wanted to combine his love for the two.

What began as a fusion of these passions has since evolved far beyond skate decks. Lochlan now creates the striking Slabs - handcrafted works of resin and insect taxidermy - and is soon to release bold large-scale pieces.

The name Rholtsu is a combination of Lochlan’s grandfathers’ names, Harold and Thomas - two strong, influential figures in his life. Each original skateboard was also named after powerful women close to him, grounding his practice in personal history and connection.

Rholtsu’s works are more than just art; they are one-of-a-kind blends of preservation and sculpture, capturing the delicate beauty of real specimens within bold resin forms.

Unique and timeless, each piece is designed to intrigue, inspire, and spark conversation wherever it lives.

RHOLTSU
